   « Ivan Prosvetov got the call that he’d been claimed on waivers by the Avalanche.

   The 24-year-old Russian celebrated. A fresh start to re-establish his place in the NHL, he’s making the most of it as Colorado’s No. 2 goaltender.

   “I was hoping to be in the spot where I am right now,” Prosvetov said earlier this week. “I’ve been working hard. I think I deserve it. I’m going to continue to work on my game. But I felt really good in the games that I have played. It’s been a good experience so far.”’

   he’s been great so far. i assume they had no choice but i don’t understand why arz put him on waivers…

   He was awesome last night

   He has potential but one thing all the greats or even NHL caliber players have is being consistently good
