recently there have been some trade talks surrounding kuznetzov in DC. he was just scratch for the game against arizona tonight for a “mental reset” so maybe he gets moved?
I really don't understand some of the things on the list. On the Sharks he has Hoffman and Labanc but not Duclair. Duclair has a lower cap hit than either of them ($3M) and he's been arguably the best of them…definitely better than Labanc. The only thing that would prevent Duke from being traded is if he wants to stay after this year and the team wants to keep him since he's still just 28.
You're insane if you think Monaham gets anything less than a 1st. "Hypothetically" ifthat's all he's worth then there is near zero percent chance they trade him.
The Flyers have been searching for a Dman to pair with Provorov and now Sanheim for a few years now. They have him! His name is Sean Walker. Unless the Flyers are bowled over for an offer for Walker. I do think they will get rid of him but sign him. I think Briere knows this and is just waiting to see what other teams offer but I would be very surprised if they trade him.

Monahan if traded can bring in so much more than a 2nd, at his extremely low cap hit he can fit in just about any contending team without cap shenanigans.

The Lightning have lost a lot of offense. Palat. Killorn. Marron and more. Sure they arent 100 point players but losing those two way gritty kinda players who can also score is tough for a team. They clearly want to compete and this deal could be perfect.
As for Montreal they add a 1st rounder to help their rebuild which id say ends around 2027-28. Coincidentally enough just before they get the Tampa pick.
As for Jeannot. They wanna trade him. This might be the most value they could get out of him and he fills all of Montreals boxes.
