  1. He's one of the players who have a lot to prove come playoff time. I like guys breaking records in the regular season, it makes the year much more entertaining, but this guy just can't dissappear again when it really matters.

  2. His last post-game interview after they lost in the playoffs last year he was visibly upset about his performance.. he is on a mission this year to prove he is ine of the best.. a determined guy like that is a problem.. for other teams

  3. No doubt about it, no one the last few years has done more for the rangers to get us IN the playoffs

  4. I think The Bread Man is ready to Rise. He looks determined to prove to the fans the kind of player he can be. I think he will be dominant in the Playoffs and the Rangers will WIN the Stanley Cup on 30th year Anniversary 🥳 of the last Cup Win!!

  5. As we have seen in season's past, teams that do well in the regular season doesn't always carry over to the playoffs. I'm hopeful, especially since what happened in the playoffs last season, we go deeper into the playoffs, especially since 94 is such a long time ago now, that lord Stanley Cup is coming back to NYC!

  6. Bread has had one bad playoff outing and its all you hear about. Hes been solid in his career in the playoffs, check the stats. People also forget that teams in the playoffs work systems to specifically shut down players like Panarin so that makes it even harder for him. I agree he needs to be better than last years playoffs but him being a bad playoff player is just false.

  7. Been a Panarin fan for a while now. This year his game looks different – he has the same skill set he’s always had, but he’s using it differently – i.e. it’s a mental shift in his gameplay.

In past seasons he always seemed to force one more pass, and missed a lot of goal scoring opportunities for himself.

This season, he has a more balanced game and seems way more confident in taking the shooting opportunities he gets, but retains that threat of dishing out the bread.

It’s exciting to watch him hit stats he has always been capable of.

  8. I agree with his enemic playoff resume, but i will say that his points this year are impressive, but its the other two zones where he has impressed me. I have seen more back checks, board battles, neutral zone impact this year than all others combined. Pasternak went through this as well, now he is a tough three zone player who can score at will. Breadman is a beast

  9. If you watched bread in his rookie year, then you would know how much of a waste it is to not see him shoot the puck more.. i think maybe he's finally realized he is an elite sniper, and he's using his shot.. on top of thay, for a small guy he is playing with a ton of grit and tenacity, and getting to the net front as well.. i think his formula for success is one that will see success during the tight playoff games

  10. The way he is playing this year it might attract some big fish by the deadline and have someone overwhelm the Rangers w an offer 🤔 something to think about. But if he keeps this up all year my feeling is they will double down on him for the playoffs and add more on the blueline and depth upfront. Amd worry about his future in the off season
