That really sucks. Say what you like about how he played, but you never like to see a guy go out like that. I have to wonder if this is it for him, hip surgery is tough to come back from.

Leafs know how to play the game

Sucks for Klingberg but if he wants any chance at an NHL comeback he needs to do something because playing through it wasn’t working. Nice that the Leafs get a bit of cap wiggle room too.

Hope he makes a full recovery. Hate to see this happen to any player.

Take Tyler myers from Van. He’s a puck mover and a big body.

Brad got lucky he can get out of his mistake pretty easily. He’s got money to work with now

Welcome to the island Klinger. Your beach chair is the one next to Lupul’s.

  8. Hearing Barrie is available. Will fill the void of Klinger perfectly.

I know a lot of people will blame Brad for this mistake. I’d put it on the medical and evaluation staff just as much as Tre. Clearly this isn’t an injury that popped up out of nowhere. A healthy Klienberg could have been a much different player than what we got a glimpse of.

I wish him all the best but feel like he tried to hide it from us to get an extra paycheck… or at least our med staff should have told the leafs to pass.

    We got lucky here

I would like to see them trade for Hanifin and sign him to an extension, similar to Boston with Lindholm. He fits what we need in that he’s a second defenceman who scan score well and is a decent defender.

This is unfortunate for him but this is treliving do over, the leafs now have 14,462,500 in their long term injury salary pool that they can use for remainder of the season

I guess good for Brad for getting himself out of the Klingberg debacle that he created himself? What a waste of fucking time regardless.

Too bad for the player, but great for the team. I feel for him.

Brad got a bit lucky with this one. It was a bad signing from the jump but LTIR gets him off the hook and now he’s free to make a move to address the hole.

Sad to season, in his Dallas days he was unreal. Wishing him a happy and healthy life post hockey.

Feel terrible for the guy, but I hear a certain island is quite nice this time of year…
