Blake Coleman scoring for the Devils in 2023 was not something I thought I’d see.
Shoutout to the linesmen who actually waived icing when the defensemen weren’t skating, as they’re supposed to every game. One of my biggest hockey pet peeves, actually called correctly for once. Thank you.
Shoutout to Colin Miller. He’s come in as a 6th/7th D, but he’s performing well. When everyone is fit, he’s definitely in the roster for me. Luke and Nemo looking good as well, really think we’ve hit the jackpot with both of them.
It seems like they simplified the defensive game over these last few games. They’re just getting it out before things get crazy.

Good win. Back in a playoff spot. Vitek did well today and the team was overall better than last game. Gotta give Vitek that confidence booster. If we can sweep the road trip with a win against the Oilers tomorrow, that’d be amazing.

My DNA doesn’t allow me to root for the Rangers no matter how much it helps the Devils.
Good to see the team maturing a little, looking comfortable winning a lower scoring game and not just playing beer league hockey trying to out score everyone. Still a little careless with the puck at times but overall much better structure. Vitek was good, but needs to save the Kadri goal. Made a lot of good saves and controlled the rebounds so it was less chaotic in front of him.
