Is anyone else just not that worried about the team? We’re missing Kakko, chytil, and goodrow. That’s a really solid 3rd line in the NHL. Has our defense and goaltending been sloppy? Yes. Have there been some amazing goalie performances the Rangers have faced? Also yes. I feel like vs the sens and the caps the rangers had 10+ amazing chances that just didn’t find the back of the net. 1 or 2 of those go in and momentum changes. I still feel great about this team.
Looking forward to this, especially because the Rangers haven’t played since Tuesday!

Given how the team has looked recently, and that they want to let Othmann marinate in Hartford, maybe they should think about calling up Berard. He hasn’t exactly been lighting it up down there but to me it makes sense.

Sounds like what the Rangers need right now. Create a third line of Cuylle, Brodz, Berard. Put Wheeler back on the first line because that line wasn’t terrible when they played together. Shuffle Bonino and Goodrow between Pitlick and Vesey. Bonino will block more shots and win more faceoffs, while Goodrow has some more speed and will do more hitting. Both are terrible at possession and honestly shouldn’t be playing but we all know they will.
Kakko can’t come back until after Christmas at the earliest, and Chytil will likely be back after the holidays, at least that’s my guess. We need to weather the storm until then and playing guys who suck as possession, and are too slow to help break up rushes is absolutely killing us.
Is there any harm in seeing how Othmann looks on the top line?
Did Goodrow break something other than his tooth?
