  1. Treliving is at best seems to be a middling GM. His record at Calgary was average with no WC final appearance. I was always a Dubas fan, and I don't think he should have been canned.

  2. Woll is at the very least a weak goaltender for the remainder of the season. My prediction is he will be put on LTIR before the trade deadline. This could happen much sooner if the Leafs are batting for a playoff spot. Either way it’s not looking good.

  3. I dont know about anyone else but i am getting tired of all the rumors and nothing happening, While i am sure Tre wants to make a good trade, he cant wait forever and there is always some risk invilved. As for Woll, i think a high ankle sprain is maybe the best outcome, i thought maybe it was a knee, and surgery,so if he is out a month ok fine, better 1 month than the rest of the season.

  4. No solidified goalies , shaky defence at BEST, leafs are in big trouble. Now more than ever these guys got pull it together and earn that big $$$$ .

  5. Tor- Markstrom, Tanev, Retain salary on Tanev
Cgy- Knies, Timmins, 2026 5th Rd DP

    And……go!

  6. None of those defencemen the Leafs are targeting are needle movers. Sean Walker is probably the best of the lot and he's 5'11 190 pounds. The Leafs need a D man that can handle himself physically. I hope they don't move prospects or picks for somebody who won't even be a starter when the injured guys come back.

  7. Samsanov overplays everything, turning pucks that are 3 feet wide into rebounds in the slot. If someone just put a cage around him and said stay here, don't slide 6 feet when 2 is enough….

  8. No need to panic folks. It's not as bad as Leafland makes it out to be. They'll be fine. Panic when they are losing and out of a playoff spot with a month left in the season. They have a winning record. They haven't looked great and they are still in a playoff spot. Relax. This is why we signed Jones. The sky isn't falling.

  9. I readed a trade rumor today that leafs send T.J brode and Ty Volt and 1st round pick in 2024 and 3rd round pick in 2024 that lslanders pick and 4th round pick in 2024 and 5th round pick in 2024 that was Canucks pick and 7th round pick in 2024 that was the Sens pick to sharks for Mario Ferraro at 50% cap hit and Jan Rutta at 50% cap hit and MacKenzie Blackwood or Kaapo Kahkonen at 50% cap hit. If true or not we will see?

  10. Everyone from their aunt to Bobs your uncle thinks they are a journalist , have a laptop and source to stream.

All they are doing is piggy backing on another source .

  11. The way I see the difference in ristolinin and tanev is term and dollar, however, if we were to resign tanev he’d probably sign for the same dollar amount as ristolinan(pardon my spelling 🤷🤦‍♂️) I think these two guys should be our main focus but it all depends on how much these guys cost us. Ideally we get one of these two and trade for a lybushkin (again pardon my spelling lol)..we’d have a pretty solid defensive defence core imo with lybushkin and let’s say tanev added

  12. Martin Jones is an NHL veteran. He played well in the pre-season and he looked good in Ottawa. I don't see a reason to panic just yet over the goaltending.

  13. I think there's a better chance of Jones keeping us competitive vs Samsonov. With Sammy in net we're gonna need 5-6 goals a night for a chance at winning.

  14. High ankle sprains for hockey players at least 8eith weeks. But that's okay because it's not the season.
Outside of Ethan Bear, I beieive the Fedorov & Tanev move as a defense unit it a better idea because it would solve all the problems one timeand give the unit depth again.
Right now there are too many long term injuries on D and this is not the time to play around because you want to integrate these new players in the lineup as quickly as possible.
