  1. I understand getting upset about the hit to the back of the head, but there is a double standard in Professional and semi professional ice hockey. Why was is deemed a horrible accident when a player high kicks the opponent in the neck and kills him in the ice? Literally shifts his weight, raises his leg as he defends his blue line, and cuts the players neck with his skate. Accident?

  2. That may be about Parker Kelly but what idiot shoves someone further into the crease when there is an active scrum to push out of the crease just a stupid play

  3. I will say that Perron's actions are not a "hockey play gone wrong" like other cross checking suspensions. I think it can belong in a separate category and therefore deserve more games

  4. The fact that Joseph got to stay in the game and get an assist when he targeted the head on that dirty play and has a history of doing so absolutely baffling. Should have been a match penalty for targeting

  5. Take a note from Gudbransson of Columbus…He begged the ref not to throw that fn turtle out of the game…so he could take care of him! And he did! Great Hockey moment…watched the game live and was very entertained

  6. insert patrick kane and a roster spot is taken, im not surprised berggren is getting a little stressed about his future in the NHL.

  7. My 2 cents…
Perron, agree he deserves the suspension. I really wish the second hand wasn't holding the stick, just for the comedy of it though.
Kelly was basically at no fault, to the point he maybe shouldn't have gotten a penalty (if it was in a vacuum.)
Joseph; people keep saying it was unintentional but his hands were up at head level to even his own head. That's less excusable as an accident, you don't push a person from that high up, its unnatural. I'm a relatively old time hockey guy so I also agree on next game. You make him answer the bell and you play their stars hard (clean, but hard.)

  8. I honestly don't care how good the Red Wings are in the next few years. I just want them to become the biggest, toughest and most violent team in the league. Watching Red Wings players get hit from behind and targeted like Larkin was over and over with no suspensions or even penalties is extremely frustrating. The league and refereeing has become a ***ing joke, I've never seen it this bad. They want a soft league with barely any hitting but they let that shit fly? Trade for Gudbranson, Reaves, Deslauriers, Wilson, Kane, whoever they can realistically trade for and is down to *** shit up I want them on the team. They should have traded for Zadorov, maybe he will hit free agency. Every defenseman on the team should be huge and cross checks everytime someone gets near the net. Big power forwards who will forecheck like madmen and hit from behind because apparently that's legal now. Next time they play the Senators I want VIOLENCE. ****ing hate that team and their pathetic fans.

  9. The fact that Ottawa media and fandom actually bragged about playing their best second period of the year just shows the ceiling of their collective intelligence 😂 you beat a team with 8-9 forwards. Congrats on solving hockey 😂

  10. Two things we need to consider about the incoming Perron suspension:
    1.) No history.
2.) No injury on the play.

Although it was an absolutely bone headed move, it's not like he's somebody like Joseph or Benn who intentionally tries to hurt people or has a clear history of trying to harm other players.

  11. Biz posted on twitter that Joseph's arms glided up Larkin and originally meant to hit him lower, and now i'm left wondering if his eyes work, because literally every angle shows Joseph raising his arms straight to Larkin's head without being obstructed at all.

  12. Maybe Berggren for Alex Turcotte. Turcotte had some concussion issues derail his development for a bit. He now seems to be doing decent in the AHL (about a point per game).

  13. I say next game against Ottawa, dont go after Joseph, go after stutzle.
Their 3rd-4th line shitter targets our best player, we target their best player. Kostin is my nominee for the job.

  14. NHL department of player safety is a ***ing joke I have absolutely 0 faith in them. George Parros is one of the biggest GOONS in the history of the league, had over 1000 penalty minutes in less than 500 games, only got double digits in points once and ended with 36 total points. Literally the worst possible person to be head of player safety and it's a ****ing joke, he has been *** at his job since day 1 and it's just getting worse. Making Parros head of Player Safety is like making Greta Thunberg CEO of ExxonMobil

  15. Wings need to toughen up if they want to be a playoff team. Drop Petrie and get a tough guy.

  16. Long story short Joseph could still face league reviewed punishment who knows. Don't be surprised if nothing comes of it though. It's nothing new. Also I love how Ken Daniel's already schooled you guys on why Edvinsson hasn't been called up and still you guys complain with the "yeah buts." The injury/shortage bug is catching up to us so now it's up to our depth and discipline more than ever.
