John Tavares is my favourite hockey player and I am so glad I got to watch the game tonight to see him, team and his dad do the celly for the career 1000th point! Hard work pays off and John Tavares teaches me about work ethic . Way to go JT and Go Leafs Go!!!!
So happy for JT. Ruined by another Keefe special. Marner was horrible yet started again in OT – it’s never worked. I hate having Marner on this team. Anyone else see his father not even cheer for John. Marner has done nothing memorable when it counts. JT should’ve been on the ice. Brutal brutal decision. The minute AM and Marner came on the ice, I knew they were going to lose. Globetrotter plays, caught flat footed, again for the 300th time. Love to see it.

Never been a fan of JT just because watching any Islander's game was a very seldom treat but and while my personal feelings about him aren't in the highest regard, he's always been steadfast about his commitment and approach to the game. The highs and the lows always seems very monotone and predictable but tonight's speech seemed appropriate. The same can kind of be said about Reilly. He's also a very capable leader and well spoken man.
