  1. Was at the game tonight at Bridgestone and while I was obviously disappointed with the end result, like Torts,.I was definitely proud of the hustle on their part. I thought Hart would start but Ersson got it but he did pretty well all the same. Would have loved to have two points but we got one and that's all that matters. Nashville's a good team but they're damn sure not great. I was listening to the Preds' post-game show on the way home tonight and they gave a fair description of the game but even they said the Flyers are an up and coming team and played like it tonight.

They were going on and on about how the Flyers took out one of their stars up in Philly last year and that was motivation for them tonight. Whatever. Did they outplay us? They played a solid game but I wouldn't say they outplayed us. I would if they did but they definitely did not do that! We outshot the hell out of them tonight too. I think they only had 13 shots through 2 periods for chrissakes. We outshot them more than 2-1 and they came away with the win and the two points but the Preds will be back in Philly in another two weeks or less and I'm almost certain Hart starts THAT one and let's see if the Preds are as tough as they make themselves out to be! Good team? I think they are but a great team? Definitely not. We're not one either but we're learning and growing every game. Not proud with the result obviously but I agree with Torts that we played pretty well all the same. We'll take all the points we can get right now. Loved the way they fought back after going down 2-0….fought back to tie it and push it to OT and got a point for it! Torts is definitely the right guy at the helm right now! 🙂

  2. One of those weird games where I'm really happy how we played even though we didn't get the two points.
