Treliving is absolutely right about Minten and Cowan. Those are 2 prospects with a high ceilings on entry level contracts for the next 3 years. We need that kind of cheap talent if we're gonna be paying Matthews, Marner and Nylander big money.
As a Flames fan, I don’t want Cowan, he’s too small. Cgy already has a hand full of players being pushed to the ice all the time but Minten, is a decent size player. Cgy should be him.
Supposedly Nylander wants to explore the free agent market not really surprise but this isn't any indication that he's leaving. A lot of players explore free agent markets but Nylander did say it would a lot for me to want to leave toronto so. He still can sign in Toronto there's not really any confirmation that Nylander is leaving.
