The amount of overpay required right now to unload Campbell and get back a true improvement in net is probably not something the Oilers are willing to do.
Goaltending coach needs to go. In the McDavid era he has wrecked more goalies than he has helped. Hire Mike Smith or Manny Legace as the replacement if possible.
this is the culmination of Hollands flaws. Remember when we coulda picked wallstedt at 22 but he chose, to the befuddlement of EVERYONE in the league, to choose smallish bourgault. Priorities priorities.
It was one really bad game after a batch of very good ones. Blaming Pickard people? He's had 2 starts, and he was excellent in the first one, and was totally abandoned in the last one. No one knows what they have yet in Pickard. Ever notice that all the excellent goalies have excellent defense in front of them? There's a reason for that. Relax, Oilers will make the playoffs. Lets find out what Pickard is by giving him more starts and playing D in front of him. Panic moves don't pay off.

Put Connor Brown in net. Can’t be any worse in net than attempting to put a puck in one.
Honestly though, a smart GM would pull in a goalie like Blackwood out of SJ.
Oilers aren’t a playoff worthy team. Even if they get in they will be out in first or second round.
