Sincerely hope that was the worst week of the season. Glad this trip is finally over, time to get home and refocus.
Not the worst game by our forwards but Stolarz has not looked great in any of his starts with the exception of the Anaheim game. Definitely should’ve had that first one and probably the second as well
for my money that’s the most annoying loss of the season.
if you’re looking for a glass half full take, you’re bound to have a few gut-wrenching losses that you didn’t deserve and they build character.
also let’s be real, we deserved at least 1 point and realistically 2. the goal calgary deserved the most was the empty netter. first one was soft and second was a breakaway but needed to be a save considering stolarz was with backlund the whole way, but hey ho backup goalies are that for a reason and we didn’t give him goal support.
just get the fuck on the plane and forget this trip. december is a cursed month for this franchise

Realistically theyve got no cup chance this year unless you want to bank on yet another complete miracle playoff run
Love the Panthers. As they stand rn they cant consistently compete with the best teams in the league
This team desperately needs goal scoring from depth forwards and Tkachuk. Barkov, Reinhart and Verhaeghe can’t score multiple goals every game
Just watching our strong start slip further and further away. Frustrating road trip with us classically playing down to teams and lacking a sense of compete

When Mahura plays, we score 5. When he doesn’t play the puck does everything but go in the net. Mahura brings the puck luck confirmed.
Also, who is our powerplay coach? Can we please fire them into the sun? Pretty please? There is just no excuse for our offense to be 20th in the league on the PP.

I understand if PoMo says he wants them to live and die by The System of board battles and cutting passes back to the middle of the ice, but it’d FEEL better if he encouraged them to switch it up to track meet / odd man rush attacks once it’s obvious that the opposing defense knows to just clog the middle from the goalie out…

The team has scoring issues. That said, they nearly always have shot leads and out hustle. In best of seven, I like their chances.
