Yall gotta chill…team is winning despite not scoring as a whole. This isn’t just an Ovechkin problem. Whole squad is getting used to a new system/coach. Leading scorer has 19 points. Let that sink in. I’m not worried about 8. He’s good to go on a heater or two. When the season ends, he should be over or near 30 goals. He’s not gonna shoot that low percentage all year and the puck luck should get better.

All I see is « Hes not going to shoot at this % forever! »

I agree with all of these points, but we are almost 40% into the season and it just goes longer and longer. It is disappointing, and does not look great for the record chase, which is the only thing we have to look forward too. IF we break into the playoffs, we aren’t winning, that much is clear, so I want to see something meanwhile. I’d trade our record for way more Ovi goals.
