@Blue Jackets de Columbus

    I agree with him – that’s enough avoidable contact to be considered a slew-foot. Still don’t love his outburst, but a shithead move from Wilson here (shocker).

    Hmm, interesting. I definitely don’t think (fuck) Tom Wilson is innocent in this matter. I do think Elvis blew it out of proportion slightly, but it’s fine. I would only care about his actions costing us the game if this season was a season to compete. And sure, you can say that we need to win to help with morale or whatever, but stuff like this helps morale, too.

    And it’s good for the rooks to understand that this is a part of the game. You’ve got to be willing to stand up for yourself and your teammates. When you’re a part of a team, you’re a part of a family. You take care of your family, no matter what.

    I think if Tom Wilson laid someone out during the game and Elvis responded by doing what he did, no one would blame him. And Wilson’s done enough in his career to warrant what he got, regardless of what he did to Elvis. Elvis didn’t jeopardize Wilson’s safety by pounding his head on the ice or anything, so I say it’s fine.

    Seems totally legal, just like ripping off Elvis’s helmet in the scrum. Refs 100% correct as always!!!!
