Hey Clay! Jeff here. Great to hear that they are getting some good recognition around the league. This is why we need some new media personality. All I hear on the radio is negative things about the Canucks. I say let the season commence & see how it all unfolds!

  2. I personally think a lot of people just want the season to just start already to really do an in-depth analysis of the Vancouver Canucks. Safe to say they might have 10 points more is because they have a legitimate top 6 core now. With Quinn Hughes on the back end of our powerplay with heavy shots from Myers, Boeser, and Petterson. It would be a greatly Improved PP from last season especially with a big net presence from Horvat, and Ferland.

  3. agreed. I also think Virtanin is ready to break out . He is still one of my favorite players on the team for potential.. all the tool of a todd bertuzzi. He needs to be given a better chance to play regularly with better players!. He has kinda been poorly developed in my opinion,. playing with plugs will never help a power forward. he should be on the wing of peterson 100%

  4. Canucks have added some nice pieces. Its going to be an interesting season. I'm looking forward to it. Can't wait to see Hughes playing for us all season. He is a game changer

  5. We’re going to the playoffs boys. No one in the league respects us so I wouldn’t expect people predicting us to make the playoffs.

  6. The Canucks will be the most improved team in N.H.L. without a doubt in my mind. They have plugged all the holes and with the signing of Boeser for 6 million for six years. That is the only logical conclusion to come to. Brock wants to win he will go for it. If he wants crazy money he can go over to Edmonton and see if they will sign him. Oh wait they already did that one and haven't made the playoffs for a couple of years since. It seems to be successful in the future, you are going to have to follow the Colorado model and sign great players to great contracts. We will see if Rantanen will fall into line or try to destroy the team with his outlandish demands. Connor Mcmoney, and Austin Money Mathews have destroyed the market for a reasonable priced super star. We will have to wait for those contracts to mature before we get to see them winning any Stanley cups, with the exception of Toronto this one last season of hope before the big ticket names take their toll. I wouldn't be surprised if they are already in trouble even with Marner signed. Next year it gets even harder for them as their real good short term tallent sign else where. I know one thing. Most Canucks and Leaf fans are eagerly waiting for the season to get under way. I am one of them.

  7. Canucks were a .500 team last year despite A. a ten-game winless streak B. a rash of key injuries C. a weak D Core that was incredibly banged up for the middle third of the season. Healthy Boeser, Quinn Hughes as your PP pointman, better back up goaltending etc. I think they're gonna improve by more than 5 wins. I'm guessing about 95 points, good for 7th in the West. Can't wait.
