Not sure what you mean by "Canadiens fans disagreeing the offside call" because even Chicago's broadcast called it onside and were confused on the call.

Its amazing how many teams "dont bring their A game" against the Jets. Is it not more likely at this point that the Jets are just a good team and they are playing well to the point where they make other good teams look bad?
I’m not even mad about the flyers……… it’s finally a season with out mediocrity finally!
I am going to chock this weirdness to the holiday effect.. Things seem wildly inconsistent and interestingly as much as the Rangers seemed to hang in the game the first 2 periods, for the first time in a long time the coach said the Rangers did not play well from the drop of the puck, lacked energy. That seems to me thats a team not in focus, and I hope the backtoback and nice bucket of water to the face by Edmonton will help them against Buffalo. Rangers more often pull this flat performance at home, there are just too many distractions. The Bruins were outplayed, but I think this is the hangover from playing so well last year only to get dumped in the playoffs tells you all this stuff going on is not nearly as important as what goes on in about 4 months from now.. this is all just exhibition.
Last night's game showed me everything I needed to know. Ersson NEEDS to be the starter of this team going forward. Hart just doesn't have that clutch "Nah we are winning this game boys" gene that Sammy has. Hart has got to be the backup until Hart either finds a way to produce that gene or needs to be moved to allow Sandstrom or a trade piece to be backup
Jets are 8-1-1 in the month of December so far, and, you guessed it, their losses came against Montreal and San Jose. I'm happy for the Jets; they're playing like they feel it.
After being down 5-1 even though it sucked hart let that soft goal to make it 6-6 we’ll take the point.
The Oilers Rangers game was wild. Really close until it wasn't, that fourth goal was just murder. No quit on either side though, I can't believe the Oilers didn't score with the goalie pulled for like 4 minutes.
I was at that game, and I couldn't believe we were playing the Bruins. Shut them down completely. At one point, my son asked if Marchand and Pasta were even playing. I was expecting a grind like the game we played against the Avs. Was weird. You know the crowd is pretty relaxed and confident when the wave breaks out with seven minutes left. Nice way to go into Christmas.
I wonder what team had the softest 15 game schedule to start the season? I wonder what team is having a more difficult time now since they are now playing a more competitive schedule? Bo…😢. I do enjoy your channel. Giving out a lot of good information and entertainment. Have a Merry Xmas!
Canada will have one less city if Vancouver and Winnipeg somehow make it to the finals together.
Hello Shannon ! My only concern for the Wpg Jet's is they did the exact same win run last year up until Jan / 15 / 2023 . Then all down hill . Wake me up for the playoff's let's see then ? Have seen this show before hope l'm wrong .
Hockey Guy…would you consider doing a "deep dive" into the current state of the Winnipeg Jets?
I am not completely sold on the Jets yet. Last year around this time, they were just as good. Then all of a sudden, they imploded after the All Star Break. I will take a wait and see approach with them
Let's give some credit to Detroit as well: After blowing a 4 goal lead (again) and being down late in the third they come back to tie it (amazing Larkin seeing-eye shot), dominate the OT and win the shoot out. What was harder, the Flyers recovering from 5-1 to go ahead 6-5, or Detroit coming from behind after blowing that lead? Larkin-Kane-DeBrincat – what took Lalonde so long those three together?
The Jets put on a Masterclass on how to play hockey. They dominated in every facet of that game. Relentless forecheck, strong backcheck, all 4 lines generating chances, all 3 Defense pairings played phenomenal and we don't have to say anything about Hellebuyck. This Jets team has TOTAL buy-in to the systems that Rick Bowness has implemented. Bones has preached since day 1 of his tenure here in Winnipeg that if they took care of the puck and played "The Right Way" on the defensive side of the puck, the offense would take care of itself.
If Hellebuyck didn't play for the Jets people would literally never shut up about him. As an Oilers fan I think he's the most underrated goalie of this generation. The only goalie this season that has outperformed him has been Demko, and I think we all know how extraordinary Demko's season has been.
When the Oilers get solid goaltending they shock people. That's two games in a back to back where they physically overwhelm their opponents in the third. It's not easy to play against by far the best line in hockey (Hyman-McDavid-Nuge) and their blistering speed. Then after they go off you have to face Draisaitl paired with two extremely fast players as well.
I guess the wings are going with the "who needs defense?" strategy. sooo many goals, and its become a trend.
Jets are a wagon!
