  1. Good game by the B’s. They earned those two lucky bounces. Hope Lorlei doesn’t get punished for abandoning his defensive position on his goal. I think Marchy has to adjust his game bc he seems a step behind. Also, we need a second trigger man on the pp so we could free pasta up a bit as he is being swarmed.

  2. I love Dahlin and Power. Right now, though, they are Maseratis in a trailer park. The Sabres have some pieces around, but my god some nights it feels like it's just them on an island.

Either way, no complaints about 2 points. Good way to break the slump. GO BSSSSSS

  3. Everyone taking the piss out of the sabres is clearly missing they just put 9 on Toronto and got a point away at the rangers. They’re not a playoff team but they’re streaky and dangerous like a lot of teams I mean look the the yotes they were getting hammered by the AVS (a cup fave) and came back to win.
There’s no easy games anymore – even the sharks lol

  4. If people are saying you suck at this, should be able to say it, but they're trolls on drugs with zero sense of humor. I can say that, too. Brother, you have one of the best channels on the platform, in my opinion. Not only my go to for Bruins breakdowns but highly entertaining. Keep going strong, friend.

  5. Tonight was an amazing night for the B's. They really needed this win, and I genuinely liked the lineup they rolled tonight.

    Forward notes.

Zacha – Geekie – Pastrnak really surprised me in a good way, Geekie seemed to fit in that 1st line role well enough, and whilst obviously he is not first line material for a long stretch of time, he played his role great.

Marchand – Coyle – Debrusk, I always advocated for Debrusk being back with Marchand, the problem always being there just hasn't been a good enough center for that line to thrive, and I thought Coyle looked spectacular with them tonight.

JVR – Frederic – Heinen was solid, they didn't have any spectacular plays but they played a solid 2 way game and didn't have defensive lapses which is all that matters to me.

Lauko – Beecher – Brown, this line struggled, especially on defense mostly due to Brown, but I won't deny Brown had some good moments in the middle of the ice and near the boards in the O-zone, but definitely looking forward to Steen being put into the lineup again.

    Defense Notes.

I have always said Lohrei works best with McAvoy, McAvoy can cover for any defensive woes Lohrei might make, but now with Lohrei growing each game he's in the majors that isn't as much of a worry anymore.

Lindholm – Carlo has always been a strong pair, and whilst Lindholm is still struggling to produce offensively he is back to his stalwart defensive self for the most part so I am not worried about this line.

Wotherspoon – Shattenkirk, this line was uneventful for the most part, Shatty has fallen back a bit from how solid was earlier in December but he hasn't regressed back to late November at the very least, and Wotherspoon whilst nothing special has solidified his spot as 8th/9th D for this team.

My main question for this team is what are they willing to do once Grzelcyk and Forbort are healthy and Poitras is back if they do bring up Merkulov. The obvious odd men out for being sent down if both scenarios happen is Wotherspoon, Steen and Brown, but my biggest question would be how would they handle Grzelcyk and Forbort. I am much more comfortable with Forbort when he is 100% healthy over Grzelcyk at this point, but you'd probably want to rotate those two so they don't reinure anything and such.

All in all this was something not only the B's needed but the fanbase as well, but this game raises more questions than answers, especially with the future of the lineup for the organization. We'll see as time goes on, but it can only go up from here hopefully. Go B's? GO B'SSSSSSSSSS!!!!

  6. I was at the game this eve. Debrusks play is (or should be) very concerning. Pasta gets a pass, as he slept walked through this one as well, but he has 20 goals to show for. JD on the other hand, cannot be awarded that same grace. He doesn't even fit in anymore. Monty even tried jump starting him with some PK time. Just a carefree passenger with the best seat in the house. I laughed out loud when they announced him as the 2nd star!!!

  7. Been saying for a while now that Lohrei needs to stay over Gryz and now it’s finally coming to fruition!

  8. We suk ,we really ,really suk 🎶 🎶

  9. Honestly was officiating this bad last season? I havent missed a Bruins game in ages and have seen a ton of other games and it feels like this season its a complete toss up regarding what will get called and what wont on any given night. Refs are making NHL into a joke this season.

  10. Perfect intro as always and finally it’s a DUBBBBBB finally haha boys played great looked great last night

  11. Wishing you and Family a happy and healthy new year! Vet bill=2k, Larry=priceless. Take care!

  12. Let's talk Freddy…. he and Lorhie are next to each other after the pass. Lorhie breaks to the far side of net and pots a goal… Freddy watching. He coukd be a 20+ goal scorer if he had instincts…. Lorhie started 2 wins this year (sabres, stars).

  13. Three comments: 1. Great plays by JB and CMAC. 2. Yes, people have a right to say that you’re not doing a good job, but people have a right to be wrong, and they are. You are amazing and totally have changed the way I follow the Bruins. 3. Looking forward to giving the devils a real beating. I think we owe it to them.

  14. Pretty good game! A little slow start but they picked it up quickly. Some signs of life from Debrusk for the first time in a few months. Lohrei should be here to stay, moves the puck really well and has some size. The fourth line was pretty absent. Saturday will be more of a challenge. Oh Yea, refs were not good, both teams had reason to be unhappy.

  15. I think you're great. I just wish you were nicer to LowQual Leaf guy.

And the Sabres benching Thompson for voicing frustration with a sub .500 team. smh.

  16. The next two games should be a pretty decent test. I mean you got Detroit who has given the Bruins an issue this year, and New Jersey. Hopefully they can keep their momentum up and continue to roll through those teams

  17. I’m glad they took Steen out of the lineup and put brown in. They’re both really unuseful and don’t score, but I’d rather have more of a veteran defensive player than a kid who is invisible half the time. Nevertheless, both players are easily replaceable since they are ass, but they should call Merkulov up to replace them for now
