Comrie, Olafsson, or Power should have been demoted before Johnson. When did the sabres bring back Darcy?
With this move to send Johnson down it means the season is over and they have given up on it
Pegs already knows about the $ spent on players going to Roch. Adams talks with him every day. I keep going back to the Blue and Gold episode when Comrie was signed. I don't know who the analytic person was in the video who gushed over how much of an almost sure thing Comrie was. Adams was so proud of himself in that vid.

All of these conversations and questions about this organization just feels all too familiar. I'm about ready to throw in the towel.
trade goaltender Comrie and one or two players sent down to AHL for goaltender Gibson from Anaheim?
use cap space to acquire two way defenseman Hanifin from Calgary, or Pesce from Carolina, or other?

Playing E. Johnson with Clifton all year was doomed to fail from the beginning. They are both right shot defensemen who don’t handle the puck well. It shouldn’t work well and it doesn’t work well. And yet they are together game in and game out. With R. Johnson in the press box. Why?
Could they be close to dealing UPL? Hope not but its possibly a reason Comrie hasnt waived.
The Ryan Johnson assignment to Rochester was just a paper transaction until Jost cleared to get Tage back on the roster sooner. There was no more to it than that. Johnson’s already back with the Sabres.
Wrong on Johnson but right on the others!! Adams and granato are the issue folks.
The rest of the 2023/24 season has been cancelled due to lack of interest by either the team or the fans. See you in 2024/25 for about two weeks before we crash and burn then too.

Comrie was just a consolation signing for Adams, when his quest for a bigger "fish" fell through. They obviously don't want to lose him to waivers. Ideally, Adams will trade him at or near the trade deadline. Even if he's just a "throw in" to sweeten some other deal.
