Man watching this team in the D zone is wildly different than last year. Last year everytime we were on D I’d be thinking oh no oh no oh no. This year we’re so pesky, doing a ton of work, hardly anyone gets clean looks, we’re blocking, tipping, poke checking. Straight up fleecing guys for the puck. Iv got so much more confidence in our team in the D zone

I remember in October as the Phillies made their postseason exit, I was on the phone with my dad and telling him *adamantly* that this season would be a massive drag for the Flyers. I told him that we’re rebuilding and that it’s going to be really rough. I’m so glad I was wrong
