Poor Dach can’t catch a break with the injuries.
People are defending him over on r/hockey. God what a cesspool.
No defense on the sucker punch, but Dach’s hit was not a clean hit. Gloves should have dropped, but not a behind punch from that rat.
Borderline assault/battery. Hit him from behind which resulted in possible injury. Definitely wasn’t your usual roughness but you could see the absolute anger in the way he moved.
Fucking coward. Wasn’t even looking so he had no way to defend himself. Hope once he returns from the joke of a suspension he gets his shit rocked and learns his lesson.
On a lighter note, Colton isn’t made of glass like Kirby so he’ll be okay.
It’s sad to know that even prospects aren’t safe from pieces of garbage who aren’t punished by leagues who supposedly care about their players.
If I didn’t know the outcome of either, I’d say Dach’s hit was more dangerous. They were both idiotic plays.
