Leafs will never win with Keefe behind the bench. He’s not an awful coach but he’s not the right leader for this team. Took him 4 years to hold players accountable and still none from the top of the group. None of these guys take him seriously. Leafs prolonging this sucks. Pull the trigger already. Problem is keefe you cannot step away from the results. Every game is 2 points and you aren't coaching this "team" to wins. You are attached at the hip to 4 players and can do no wrong. 2 short handed goals against with your top PK center in the press box. What about Marner and his through the leg BS. Will he sit a game?
Keefe is not accountable to himself. He should go sit in the Pressbox and let Guy Boucher coach for two or three games and see the results

He is being called up way before his time. If he doesn’t perform to an NHL level, don’t blame him. We’re out of luck for goalies at the moment so anything he does will be great for us.

I didnt realize how important mental and emotional resilience is for goalies. After watching Campbell and then Samsanov fall because of weakness in that regard… I hope the new guys just dont gaf about what people think if they have a rough stretch.

The Leafs just don’t have budget in their cap space for good goaltending. Like Sammy – if he is ok about 60% of his playing time in months – that is the most likely outcome. Why don’t the Leafs value goaltending enough to budget for it? Marner & Matthews can never outscore Leaf goaltending weaknesses from Leaf team unbalanced payroll weaknesses.

The Leafs have something really special in Joseph Woll. They have not had a top goalie in decades. Woll could be a .995% on a consistent basis.

I went to the Columbus game a few days ago. It was very painful watching Samsonov in net. He has serious issues he needs to work on. I wish him the best. Time for a change. Hopefully the Leafs can turn this disaster around.
Hildeby appears to be a pretty grounded individual with the right attitude and approach to his game. I'm optimistic moving forward and I hope the team plays well in front of him. This team needs to consistently play to it's full potential, NOT playing to – or below – the caliber of it's opponent ….which is all too often the case with this group.

I'm really excited to watch this kid play. Hopefully everyone remembers he is still a kid developing and learning. It's going to take time, he won't be a magic fix out of the gate.
