I don’t know if this is a hot take but I think he’s actually been a sufficient 4th liner lately. He shouldn’t be on PP as much as he has been but as a 4th liner he scores sometimes and isn’t terrible defensively which is about all you can ask for.
Since it’s lower body, I can say this is addition by substraction. He is washed

Why do so many in this sub seem to think the only thing a player should bring to the team is speed? Sure Okie isn’t as fast as he once was but he brings more to the team and the group of young guys than just the ability to skate fast in a straight line.
People wanna bitch about the Sabres not giving any effort? Kyle Okposo is maybe the one player who seems to consistently out there doing what he can for this team, and has lead the team in goals since Thanksgiving. For a 35 year old man, he’s had a pretty good month or so.
Him not being in the lineup makes the team worse.

Dudes been solid this year despite what casual fans will say. He’s fine in his role, and brings way more to the team than his 4th line minutes anyways. On pace for like 15-20 goals and 30 points, while being adequate defensively (which is saying a lot on this roster) . But people act like he’s a problem.
Like would you rather Ox or Pat Maroon on your 4th line? Cause 3 Stanley Cup winners had Maroon on their 4th line. He’s not the problem. This hurts the team

Not saying this is a huge huge loss or anything but after Sunday’s game I’m convinced we have negative puck luck. And we all know Cozens has been BEYOND snakebitten this year.
