Peter Baugh, Et il s’est déjà « doté » grandement des fans des Îles. Heureusement, nous avons toujours Staple. J’ai lu d’autres trucs de ce type, il a l’air plutôt bon mais je suis sûr que puisque c’est l’athlétisme et que nous sommes les Îles, ses contributions seront légères.

So funny that they sent the former Avs writer to MSG so they could have two people live tweet the Rags loss instead of having someone on the Isles / Avs game.
Translation: The Rangers get 2 full time writers while the Islanders and Devils get maybe one article a week
The Athletic is all about the bottom line. They seem to think more Rangers coverage will add more subscribers than losing the few isles fans still around on that platform. Baugh is a good reporter, though.
The abdication of local coverage for all but the biggest teams (which garner the attention anyway) is why I quote The Athletic. Really loved their first few years but between the loss of Isles and Orioles plus teams that I don’t follow but would check up on some articles it was no longer worth the cost.
I’d honestly rather have occasional coverage from Staple than Kurz full time. If this guy frees up Staple to focus less on Rangers day-to-day, that’s a positive to me.
