Trois espoirs des Blues joueront pour l’or au Mondial junior (Snuggerud, Lindstein et Stenberg). Deux autres espoirs des Blues (Kaskimaki et Stancl) participeront au match pour la médaille de bronze.

So blues are confirmed 4 medals at the WJC, a nice showing by all of them!

Future is looking bright. Lindstein only got a spot due to injuries and he ended up being Swedens best d-man. Stenberg, Snuggerud and Dvorsky showing they all are NHL caliber players with star potential. Stancl, Kaskimäki and Pekarcik all have potential to be solid NHLers with right tools, mindset and practice.

I knew our picks in last draft were great, but never believed they could exceed all the expectations with such high margins.

    LGB!

Immediately felt it after the draft that this may be one of the best classes the Blues ever had. Army played it smart getting three guys that knew each other in the same round. And I’m not surprised Sweden made it to the gold medal game, they have been quietly producing a bunch of star level talent in recent years, and consistently too.
