I feel like this isn’t a new thing unfortunately.
Well fuck. Brad Marchand might be Sidney Crosby’s best hype man. I don’t like that I like him right now.
Marchand schmoozing to make sure he’s guaranteed a spot on Crosby’s line at the next Olympics or World Cup
Crosby is a top 3 player of all time and I’m tired of pretending he’s not. It’s Crosby, Lemieux and Gretzky in any order. Idgaf anymore.
But on the contrary, I don’t think Marchand is getting the credit he deserves either taking over as captain. He’s filling some big shoes in Boston, and that’s not easy considering his little rat feet. He’s legit.
Just giving credit where credit is due.
He’s carrying the team, which is set to miss the playoffs 2 seasons in a row. That tells you how much dead weight he’s dealing with.
Crosby got some love at the beginning of 32 thoughts today as well.

I dislike Marchand just as much as the next yinzer but he is really proving his capabilities as a captain so far. Love to see the respect.

Here is the thing about Marchand for me. I hate him when we play against him. But damn wouldn’t he look good in Pens sweater. He’d immediately be one of my all time favs.
