No Okposo. Sabres scored 9 goals & only allowed 2 goals. 🤔
The 2 goals allowed was a SHG & a PP goal down 2 players.
Defense is NOT good enough!
Hopefully this is the start of something new for the Sabres.

I have nothing against Okposo but I like Z, Krebs and Erik Robinson better.

Crosby is still so good as he's pushing 40 years old. Just unreal to me. While upl played incredible, we got lucky with this win between all the breakaways given up and goals called back.
Oh I remember that 79-80 season with Sauve and Edwards.. and they won the Vezina too. And we lost in the semis to the Islanders who went on to win the next 4 cups..
Pens had so many chances man… 3 breakaways, two goals overturned, posts… Im 100% sure that in any other night that score would be different. UPL had a game of the year too. Its good win but still… This feels like the long win streak few years ago. It was a great run but when you really focused on those games… many were won in OT or SO so it made it feel…kinda worse and you knew that a small bounce in those tight games could have ended the run so much faster. They were just lucky in many games during that stretch. I hope they turn this around but the way they are STILL giving opposite so many top quality chances, i just can’t see it happening.
Goalie rotation is working. Both are playing solid. Great to see some stabilty.
That first goal is so important to this team.
UPL did a Tokarski against Pittsburgh, they must be spitting! Now for the boys to really kick on at home and start building the fanbase confidence. A half decent run at home would make it a different season altogether. We'll have to wait and see. 🤔 The platooning of the goalies doesn't always work but several teams have got good results doing it. I seem to recall the mid-90's Senators doing it with Rhodes/Tugnutt with some success too.

If the Sabre's get it going, they will need more of the stuff they got tonight from UPL. This game could have easily been over in the 1st period. Go Sabre's!

I got to say, UPL since the start of the season looks like a real deal – so far he got just 1 stinker in 1 game I watched.
His movement, calmness and mechanics in the crease is exceptional.
Guy works like a Swiss clock. Levi probably will stay a hero of the crowd but boy does he have somebody breathing on his neck.
They won’t make the playoffs if they don’t start playing better without the puck.
I watched the fishbird feed,and man they forget that offsides is a rule in hockey meaning the Puck carrier takes Puck over the blue line b4 anyone else enters the zone and then after they were whining on the o.t.show man Upl looked so calm in net last night was that Upl behind that mask ha ha
Penguin fans crying about the game probably are wiping their tears on their Cup winning towels. Give me a break. Spoiled fans the lot of them. They have 5 Cups in my lifetime, they have nothing to complain about.
They’re not going to call Dahlin’s goal an “EN” because the goalie was still on the ice and made an attempt to get back in net to make a save. I’m a goalie and I about fell over laughing the I saw Jarry imitating Superman, flying in from stage right and sliding across the ice!! 😂😂

I hope everyone stops complaining that Adams didn’t get a veteran goalie in the offseason. Time will tell but the payoff for developing UPL and Levi will be huge. Also I hope they realize on those calls that were turned back that they were once again leaving guys wide open right in front of the net. It doesn’t matter who is in goal if they keep letting that happen.
