Van/NJ game fun fast game.
Cool 🔥🔥🔥
Actually, the first Oilers goal was Hyman, who tipped Bouch's bomb. They reviewed it later and gave him credit, thus the hat trick.
Bouchard got an assist on the 3rd goal as well. He assisted all 3.
Probably the best 50 minutes the Canucks have played this season. Right up until the last 10 minutes this was their best game.
Montembeault steals yet another game. Fantastic game overall I have to say.
Funny intro to the BUF highlights, Shannon haha. Fun fact : This W ties the Sabres longest win streak so far this season. 2 games in a row is the longest win streak we have so far. To quote Bill Goldberg : SEA … "You're next!!"
Oilers look scary good rn. Their offense is silly good but they’re getting the solid D and outstanding goaltending as well.
Dahlin's goal was the 2nd goal of the day where the goalie was half way to the bench for the extra skater when the goal was scored. Jarry actually turned back towards his goal and dived in vain trying to stop the puck.
Watched Buffalo vs. Pittsburgh game. I'm sorry, but in my opinion, that was not goalie interference on Pittsburgh, player, I think it was Guentzal, was close, but not in the crease; didn't even breath hard on the goalie; didn't prevent the goalie from using his stick. Don't know what Toronto saw,but I thought it was a BS call. Can't say that it effects the outcome, but momentum was rolling towards Pittsburgh and that seemed to wreck it.🤷
Question (to the hockey guy? Or anyone else knows?).
Has NHL always been this generous with the second assists, or has there been a change in policy?
For example, in Toronto's game here, against San Jose, the first goal, Nylander gets a (second) assist when Marner scored, but they played like this (with Marner and O'Reilly passing back and forth between each other) :
Nylander (3rd assist) –>
Marner (2nd assist) –>
O'Reilly (1st assist) –> Marner –> Goal
But Nylander still got an assist (2nd assist)!
(But had O'Reilly passed to another player who scored instead of Marner, then Nylander would not got an assist).
I think I have also seen players scoring on their on rebounds (first intercepted by the other team's goalkeeper) and sometimes even some struggle for the puck and then scoring (while still giving assists and even 2nd assists).
Has it always been like this (very genereous with the 2nd assists)? Or has there been a change of policy at some point in time?
The Blues Jersey. Wow !pleasantly surprised, but I like your thinking. A lot of other teams up and down right now. Hope to see you wearing again in February.
Your channel is a great way to learn something new.
In the Rangers-Habs game, Monebeau (Montreal goalie) was unreal, habs deserved that win.
2nd goal being called off was absolute BS and so was the penalty on Harkins late in the game. It was over glass off a Buff stick clearly. That being said that was the worst timed goalie pull Ive ever seen in my life I think I had an anuerism screaming get out of net when Letang had possession and then screaming wait when Rakell was obviously gonna get pinched with no help anywhere close. Just really angry at this night.
Oilers > anybody right now
You think ref chants get the Devils powerplays?
What about that trip that wasn't called? The one that would have made it 5 on 3, and the Devils would have tied it.
You didn't even mention it lol.
Hello Puckheads!
Much Fun and many crazy outcomes — @terranholmes1158 followed a 3-0 Friday with a 8-2-2 Saturday which tops the crew.
For me, an adequate Saturday going 6-4-2 after a perfect Friday. Overall, 322-247-47 (56.41%) not too shabby 😊
At least I am seeing @predyperdy6787’s tail lights (339-230-47) who leads by 8.
LGB!
With Hamilton and now Siegenthaler out for a long period the Devils need to make some trades here for D. Devils have alot of key injuries and as always this team tells us nothing on timetables for returns.
Kessel has been terrific on the Blues D since getting called up. And Perunovich's passing and overall work on defense has been phenomenal. Parayko and Scandella are playing their best hockey in years. Faulk was solid as usual before Manson's slew-foot put him on the IR. Night and day from last season on the Blues D.
Comon man no mention of the obvious no call trip on L. Hughes from Miller late in the VAN-NJ game? I know the Canucks deserved to win, but NJ didn't deserve to get robbed of a 5 on 3 opportunity late in a 1 goal game. The ref is 10 feet away staring at it, and does nothing. It's just unacceptable officiating and I'm tired of seeing this over and over in the league, and has happened to the Devs multiple times this season already.
Islanders are not going anywhere until they fix their defense. It’s been so porous this year
Buffalo's check cleared. Refs were actual trash last night

Oilers win 3-1 in Edmonton to continue their streak to 7 in a row so far. Two of the goals were PP goals (so the PP is working again with 2/3). Hyman scored all goals with Bouch getting 2 Primary and 1 Secondary assist. Hyman's 3rd hat trick of the season and 4th of his career ALL of which come with the Oilers. Considering how many men were in the crease it's amazing Skinner could change his mind (or his underwear) with that little room let alone make any saves. They waived it off initially but on review it came back. Yes, a shutout would have been nice for Skinner but a .967 Save %age isn't chopped liver either and improves his standings. PK was 100% tonight on 3 chances. The two penalties taken by Artem Zub were directly responsible for the PP goals the Oilers scored. The Senators were hitting machines nearly double the Oilers (27 to 14) but, in the end, the boys won, Hyman got a hattie, Connor got a point, Bouch got 3, Nuge got 1, wish Drai could have gotten a goal to extend his streak but he'll probably just come back and get a hattie of his own next game (one never knows with him). Take care all.
All I'll say is; If I was a Pittsburgh fan at that game, I would have have needed to be bodily removed from the arena…. That game reminds me of how much I hate refs and the use of video replay.
In the Blues’ shootout, worth mentioning that Jake Neighbours extended the game by scoring on his first ever NHL shootout attempt, helping to set up Schenn’s winner in the next round.
Gary Bettman was so butt hurt that Beddard was out with injury that he told the refs to not call tripping calls on the Devils. Such a fuckin fixed game. Fuck you, refs.
bad night for metro teams huh
man, you are INSANE with that dry erase board.
Devil IR list
Jack Hughes
Timo Meier
Ondrej Palat
Dougie Hamilton
Tomas Nosek
And now after that game…
Jonas Seigenthaler
The fact that NJ was able to mount any sort of comeback with that list is amazing. Daws is fresh from AHL playing the best team in the NHL.
Can we also talk about how one of JT Millers goals shouldve been taken back for kicking motion? And that egregious no tripping call on luke hughes?
The non-call on Luke Hughes was the play of the game. I wanted to hear your take on it as a Vancouver local. I am really surprised you did not even mention it.
Just skip ove Demko's 100th win? Ok?
Dahlin wasn’t an empty net goal! 5 skaters & a diving back goalie
6 and 4 and 2 yererstday 317 and 263 and 45
Brayden Point was on the ice for 5 even strength goals against last night… And notice how Shannon didnt mention Tanner Jeanott's name one single time.
Shannon
I don't understand and am asking your honest opinion!
Now, last night with the way they played, the Islanders more than likely lose the Vegas game anyway no doubt, exactly what a team on a 3-7 skid needed!
That said, you saw Lane challenge the goal for goalie interference and get denied. Well, I also saw Pitt playing Buffalo and Crosby scoring a goal that was disallowed for goalie interference! They looked identical to me! Can you give your opinion!? Why is it allowed against isles and waves off for Pens!? And when they allowed against isles, I immediately thought sure, if the isles scored a goal like that it gets waived off which has already also happened to them this season! I see many complain about the same thing that it should be cut and dry and is not! And I remember Smith saying that's why you have to take control of your crease and push the guy out and make it obvious!
I'm really interested to hear your thoughts, if I'm wrong I'm wrong and if so, can you elaborate as to why cause it doesn't seem clear cut at all…
I am not surprised you also "missed" the blatant trip on Hughes at the end of that game. Lol classic. Not saying the outcome would have definitely changed but the no call on that was beyond blatant. Devils had all the momentum. There was literally nothing else to look at if youre a referee at that moment. What a joke.
Isles are an enigma, they were mostly terrible last night and repeat way to often problems they can't seem to correct!
Shannon
That's what I'm looking for!
Please explain close!? 3 instances 1 allowed and 1 not!
