2024 is the one I’m concentrated on
So how does Calgary receive Florida’s pick?
I’m not too worried, most likely scenario is Calgary finishes bottom ten and Montreal gets Floridas pick.
Good thing it’s looking like a top 10 pick for us and a bottom 10 pick for Florida

What an absolute mess.
We long as we get Floridas pick. We are alright.
However next year Florida lose almost their entire D core and Reinhart. Plus they have a 36 year old Bob at 10mil a year. They will have lots of cap to spend but that’s always a coin flip
What a stupid fucking trade this was.
Pretty sure this was very obviously a bad deal when it happened, but everyone thought Flames would need the cap space for that dope cup run with the team that was about to be dismembered in a few months.
Could we make it any more convoluted?
So unless we somehow make the playoffs and go on a run this year don’t bother worrying about this. Got it.
