    I am choosing to see the silver lining that Danny, Jonsey, and the rest of the FO asked teams to keep it quiet about shopping Cutter and they did. Sure if the meetings leak, that damages his value but also damages the position of the team trying to get him. That said, there is no chance in hell that this stays under Fletcher.

    We have an FO that has respect among the teams in the league and while the Cutter bullshit sucks, that’s not nothing.

    Can yall imagine how terribly this would’ve gone if it wasn’t Jones and Briere running the ship? This would’ve leaked months ago, we would’ve spent the last 6 months agonizingly mad as we got bent over a barrel knowing we had no leverage.

    Instead we get a potential 1D and PP QB and a 2025 2nd for a guy that almost assuredly per Therien, SanFillipo, and Hartnell was getting his ear bent by organizational cancer, Kevin Hayes.

    Really turned a negative and made it positive and then used the imaging of it all to say “if you don’t like us we don’t care” / get fucked, which is what they need to do to get us back into the right organizational mindset. Honestly, props. If this is your first major issue to deal with, I’d say they dealt with it resoundingly well.
