Excited for this kid. Seems he has it all. Work ethic, mental resiliency, size, skill. And of course chad level good looks.

I love the progression and development of this kid. Its important to help Slaf in his shot and offensive game. Clearly, they worked with him in his defensive game and puck retrieval. Now, player development is working on his one-timers.

I don’t know the future but the Habs got it right when they picked Slaf first. Nothing against the others but we now have multiple cases to prove this guy is mentally solid as well as a gifted player.

I’m still happily surprised how he turned his game around so much.

He’s a creative playmaker. I love that about his game.

Looks like they are trying to speed up his catch and release, awesome!

« This is your stick. Hold your stick like this. Then hold it like this. Then score a goal. Sound good? »

    « Sounds good, coach. »

Now if they can just convince Matheson to pass it to him on the PP

hopefully, concussions dont end his career early… super psyche for this kid too

I think that Slaf will be more a playmaker and defensive reliable than a scorer. He doesn’t have the sniper instinct. If he develops well, then he might have roughly the same production as Suzuki now. A his peak, he might score 25-30 goals.
