@Blue Jackets de Columbus

    My guess is they are going to trade him and are holding him out so he can stay healthy. We should trade him for Campbell and a first plus and roll with Martin/tarasov the rest of the year and give jet a shot at the backup job next year

    I think given Tarasov’s recent performances + rumors floating around that Elvis and the team may be looking at new scenery, it doesn’t surprise me that they might be protecting him and keeping him healthy for a potential trade.

    Maybe they’re simply tired of watching him pull himself out of games after the 1st period because he’s “sick.” Maybe he’s really sick or maybe he just won’t fight through it. He’s nowhere near the only guy on the team with toddlers who may be bringing home illnesses.

    I’d like him to not be traded, he had a rough year last year, for sure, but he’s been doing relatively well this year, and I’m always for a bounce back story, but I’d really prefer him not to be traded.

    The Elvis defenders are weird. He’s not good. Unfortunately no one wants his contract

    I really wish him all the best but it’s time to move on. Hoping it happens sooner rather than later. It’d be best for both parties.

    We have 3 goalies who all need work and Elvis has been sick multiple times this winter. If he gets traded before the deadline it’ll be for a really nice haul. Banking on a Tarasov Martin duo for next season is galaxy brained imo.

    I’m a pretty ardent Jarmo supporter but part of me really thinks he dropped the ball picking between Korpi and Elvis.

    He was sick, I assume he’s healthy now but I’m pretty sure they said when tarasov came back that each game whichever goalie they go with between tarasov and Elvis, the other will be a healthy scratch. I don’t fully understand it, why not have them available in case of injury or poor showing from the starter but it is what it is. I’m sure jarmo is looking into trading him but idk who’s taking him and his contract unless someone’s goalie gets hurt before the deadline
