The NHL apologized today saying they made a mistake in ruling the Buffalo player was offside on the goal they scored. I saw the game last night and watched it again on another Youtube link and the Buffalo player clearly never touched up on the blue line from the offensive zone until 1-2 seconds AFTER the puck had been brought into the offensive zone so I don't know what the NHL was thinking with that statement.
