  1. After Just 1 Year as GM, Paul Fenton has been FIRED by the Minnesota Wild! What are YOUR Thoughts On This Firing? And Do YOU Agree OR Disagree With This Move? I'd LOVE to Hear Your Thoughts! #GravGang

  2. Can you did an video about your opinion of the top 31 best NHL GM or top 31 best head coach soon ??

  3. Things are getting Wild in Minnesota… hahahaha Seriously though you're right, Fenton clearly lacked an identity in how he managed the Wild. Hopefully the team can move forward now in a positive fashion.

  4. As a wild fan I’m glad. He messed up By Picking Matt Boldy at the draft instead of Spencer Knight. Trading Granlund for Fiala was bad and trying to trade Zucker was also bad. Zucc is not that good and trading for donato was alright but Victor Rask is not that good. That’s my opinion. Good Video man

  5. he was bad so good thing they will still have jason zucker. Also great channel i am subscribed and i have notifications on keep up the great work

  6. For me, this is a Wild team that despite being in the playoffs for 6 years until this past season, was stuck in a constant state of mediocrity, and while I'd normally think Leipold rushed the decision and gave up on Fenton too early, I don't blame him for pulling the plug and the moves Fenton made back that up. The Wild have a bad prospect pool, a non-contending team, and are in cap hell, possibly in the worst state they ever have been as a franchise and getting some fresh minds in the front office will help kickstart the rebuilding process and get them back into the conversation of relevance as soon as possible. Someone needs to save this franchise and Paul Fenton certainly wasn't going to be the guy to do it.

  7. This was a great move in my opinion. He made lots of confusing trades that lead the wild to a unfortunate end to their season:( I’m excited to see who the wild hire as their next GM though!!!

  8. Good move. He absolutely needed to be sacked with it being a bad fit. The moves werent all bad. I did like the Dumba contract and the same to a move like getting Donato for Coyle.
But his poor asset management and his lack backroom leadership, that made him a bad fit meant there really was no other way but out for him. The low point obviously being the Nino trade, but also lossing a great analytics department due to his skills as a GM. Within that he even hired his some as chief scout with only 3 years under his belt. Thats nepotism if i ever seen it, and just not good at all.

For the futre. Hope we get someone ala Hextal and maybe Modano as President of hockey operations. Think we need something like that to limit some of Leipolds involvments as an owner.

  9. Dont agree with Zucc being an L. He is not a bad signing imo. Sure its long but i dont think its a move that will turn sour super fast. Maybe only in the last year at most if you ask me

  10. Great vid as usual. I agree Fenton may not have been the right guy for the wild. I think Parise is just a whiner. His game has been shit for years and Fenton probably told him that. And now pussy, I mean Parise. Sorry auto correct. Gets his way and will be a lazy bottom 100 player for the rest of his career.

  11. Excellent news for the Wild. Fenton was unable to make a fair assessment of his team. He demonstrated a total lack of knowledge of the ingredients needed to build a competitive team. The Wild should be in reconstruction mode and I hope that Zach Parise will have the chance to continue his career with an aspiring team.

  12. He deserved to be fired I would’ve been mad he traded Granlund and almost traded Zucked they traded Niederriter he gave up talented guys who had potential I don’t get it Gravs

  13. Remember when they signed Suter and Parise and everyone thought they were gonna be amazing, now they’re the most irrelevant team in the league.

  14. Parise upset with the Wild? If anything, Wild fans should be upset with that contract and what he has given them. The last few years of that contract are a disaster.

So happy he isent a Devil anymore

  15. Good! He has failed. Big time!
    1. Trading Nino Niederreiter for Rask
    2. Trading Charlie Coyle for Donato
    3. Trading Mikael Granlund for Fiala

  16. It’s easy to look back in hindsight and laugh at this, especially since I loved the Granlund for Fiala trade when it happened. Obviously that’s a wash now with moving Fiala to LA.

But what’s actually hilarious is the Zuccarello signing (which I also loved at the time) has turned out to be his best move. Don’t sleep on the Hartman signing either. Both have worked out quite nicely for the Wild, as they both obliterated their career totals playing on the same line with Kaprizov last year.

We’ll see what the future holds for them, but looking back now, I think it’s fair to say Fenton did good there.
