  1. Why does Monty keep putting Pasta on the SHOOTOUT. He doesn’t try. Sure he says that he has too many ideas and it just shuts him down, but he doesn’t visibly try. That’s the problem. My brother said “he just wants the game to end” and not 5 seconds later. They scored on the Shootout attempt. I cursed Pasta. Need to tell him “it’s a breakaway” or “it’s a penalty shot” as HE GETS THOSE! I have FOR YEARS. Not liked Pasta in the shootout. Greatest goal scorer for the Bruins in the modern era. TERRIBLE when you need him to score in a Shootout, GREAT FOR PENALTY SHOTS OR BREAKAWAYS

11:00 THIS IS WHY I SAY MARCHAND-COYLE-DEBRUSK! Top line right there.

THE MOMENT MY FATHER MENTIONED GRZELCYK. I said “ah, Low Quality is going to be PISSED about Grizzy existing on the ice.” I personally love Grzelcyk. Been a fan of him as an individual for years.

Someone needs to prove a dead wall against MacKinnon. He and Cousins are people I want to see put down. Can’t wait to see the next player who becomes a League Hero for attempting to injure Cousins.

Unrelated. Getting really tired of subscribing every time I watch your videos. Every. Single. Video. Stupid thing is, YOU ARENT THE ONLY ONE! Literally only like 3 YouTubers I don’t have to resub every time they post a video. Blarg, Daily Dose of Internet, BigPuffer I think…have to check him again. Like, what’s going on YouTube? Don’t like me calling you the other name I did when I was a wee lad because I thought it was a funny? J*wTube. I called YouTube, J*wTube when I was a child. It was just a stupid way of pronouncing ‘You’

  2. I agree with your premise that the Bruins have earned the right to be called cup contenders.
And I'm out on Griz, too. He's painful to watch.

  3. Everybody's mad at Gryz, and I get it, but I genuinely think he can bounce back. There's a reason we keep him around. I think he'll end up being like Foligno a couple years ago. I'm not ready to give up on him yet. I think the only difference is that we aren't stuck with Gryz like we were with Foligno. Other teams could get value out of him, but they might not take him because of his recent poor performance. Genuinely, I think you can send him down for a few games, bring Mitchell (and Lohrei if Carlo is hurt) and let him develop.

  4. 15:12 Alright, Ian, I agree with you on a lot of things, but this just isnt it. This wasnt a wrist shot. If I could track the puck in the shot in it's entirety, it's not good. It was a horrible shot. This is the difference between Care*free* and care*less*. His other shots had some power put behind it, this was nothing.

  5. pasta looked a little nonchalant. the shootout was bad. they are usually money. take the point and bounce back.

  6. Great assessment of the game! Didn’t watch as it was late for me but happy to take a point in the game against a talented Avs team. Go Bruins!

  7. That could Marchy line Is looking really good. Coyle is a big reason they are where they are filling the 1 or 2 spot nicely. Poitras looked good couple times he had looks in the slot area and either waited too long to shoot as he always looks to dish or just didn’t shoot looking to dish but he had the puck a lot fire checked well. It’s a great foundation for what should be a very scary team after this offseason

  8. When I woke up this morning saw we lost, I was pissed. Then I realized we got a point, on the road, v the Ave's. I'll take it

  9. dang I clicked for the skit, kinda bummed there wasn't one they crack me up. twas a good game but I didn't stay up for the whole game.

  10. they need a top 6 scoring winger badly…should move grzelyck and geekie for one imo and put zacha back at 1C

  11. I was very much not a fan of this game. It was late, I was tired, and the B's didn't really start playing up to their potential until the third period in my opinion. Not as many notes today nor are they very detailed notes, I was sleepy and mostly paying attention to my phone for vast portions of the 1st and 2nd with how I thought how bad they were playing.

    Forward notes:
First line had their moments but overall they were fairly unimpactful on the game results. The second line was electrifying, they definitely had to most energy tonight and did everything in their power to make sure the B's stayed in this game. The third line had a lot of good moments, Potsy had some terrific chances tonight thanks to Heinen and Frederic, and Montgomery gave Potsy a lot of ToI during the third period which you love to see. The 4th line was probably the best forward line in terms of all around play, Boqvist continues to make a good impact as the 4th line C, really hope to see his play continue whilst JVR is out for a bit.

    Defense notes:
I've said this for awhile, but Grzelcyk is the odd man out on that Left D. Lohrei has solidified himself on that top Pairing with McAvoy, Lindholm is never gonna leave that top 4 Pairing role even when his play has been wishy washy at times, Wotherspoon has also solidified himself as that 7th Dman you can rely on at any moment you need him and Forbort before he was given as much time as needed to recover from his nagging injury was a very solid 3rd Pairing Left D man you could trust in key situations on the PK and to start a rush/keep the puck in the O-zone. Shame to see Carlo injured especially with it being upper body, hoping it isn't a concussion or anything like that especially with his injury history. Biggest question is who do they now bring up, Mitchell or do they bring up Zboril and move Wotherspoon to the Right D till Carlo is healthy again?

Swayman played lights out shame he doesn't get the win but it happens.

All in all a very frustrating game for the vast majority of it. Hoping tonight they start off at 100 against a very good and enjoyable Yotes team. Although I'm unsure if I'll be watching it due to how late it is lol. Go B's? GO B'SSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

  12. If the Avs and the Bruins go to the cup final together, do we go seven games? No hidden rhetorical meaning or intention. I'm genuinely asking as a casual fan.

  13. Stealing a point is not equivalent to the "Sky is Falling" mentality that Bruins Social media had

  14. Before the game started I said it would be a shoot out and Coyle would get the winning goal. I was kind of wrong. Dagnabbit.

  15. Go B's!!!!!!!!!!! Love it when these 2 teams get together. The Bruins being my first choice and Avs 2nd. But it is always good/interesting hockey to watch.

  16. Griz and Lindholm are hideous. Once on the ice, goals against are a matter of time. Either Bruins get rid of them, or they shall get rid of any dream of winning the cup.

  17. I have been an ardent Matt Grzelcyk defender. Over the past 5 years he was every bit as good as I kept saying he was.

I don't know what's going on this year. I barely recognize the player. It is legitimately bonkers that Parker Wotherspoon has been better than him.

  18. Pasta with the absolute laziest penalty shot I’ve ever seen. Dudes a turnover machine lately as well, and I’m kind of over it.

  19. My thing with Lindholm is he hasn't been anywhere close to worth his contract since like 4/5 the way through last season and was worthless against Florida. He's been no good for a while. Too much weird power surfboarding and not enough scoring and playing like he did for the first half of last season.

  20. Avs fan here. Good assessment of the game. It was a wicked pissah of a contest. Georgie has been terrible. If it wasn't for the Avs ability to score we would lose every game with that guy. Hoping for more of the same next week.

  21. Great Game
    For Wootherspoon Coyle
Can't deny its time to consider
    GRYZ AND Debrusk for Hanafin
    Lindholm is sloppy.
    Thrid line played steady.

  22. The stars were not out to shine. I felt like Macavoy and Pasta were fighting it all game but it was a good effort. Val Nichushkin’s wrister was a bullet in the shootout

  23. 5 on 5 and other elements of regulation play is the only way to judge a team, the 3 on 3 OT is just very false and the shoot out is a crap shoot.

  24. Last night was just enjoyable to watch. I'm a Boston guy who wakes up early so I rarely watch teams from the Pacific or Central divisions. You hear all the time about how good guys like Makar, Rantanen, and MacKinnon are but to see them play at home, in their comfort zone, blow by our defenders and connect on cross-ice passes is another thing entirely. For the first time in a few years I've realized that there is a definite talent gap between us and legitimate Cup contenders.
