Konecny is too expensive for the wrong type of player the Oilers need. Sure he’d add great depth scoring, but he’s not a big presence with no playoff experience come April.

I’d give Chicago a second and a 6th or something to take browns contract and then sign perry for league minimum. A line with Kane and Perry would be awful to play against, so it would be perfect for the playoffs
Kane will be the guy we need come playoffs, Perry could work for us as well. Fogle,Gagner and Hymen pretty tough team, just have to throw in a McDavid and Draisatle probably good to go lol😊
Broberg's value is limited at this time. We need his type of contract in the system. He also needs to play in the NHL.

Sorry hit wrong thing but the forwards there getting scoring from everyone a complete mix lately other then top guys Hyman Drisittle and Mcdavid and the play of the defence has helped Skinner stay in games making key saves lately I'd have to say there looking really good at this time if they can pull wins out of this road trip so far 1 and 0 kings lost so there you go first win got them 2 points closed to kings I think there not going to have to rely on a wild card if say they end up with a playoff spot without wildcard spots thanks
I think there crazy to even think of using Cain for trade the guy is a huge part of the team he just got his life together loves Edmonton he has been scoring hasn't had one lately but not from lack of trying or shooting he protects his players up front he isn't huge but very muscular and tough fighter I know teams don't care but trading him now would ruin his life he is happy playing with oilers and has fit in with the group Conner and him are friends and he had a part in bringing Cain there Perry isn't worth getting if you give up Cain he hasn't got a goal lately but in other 9 game winning streak he had 8 or 9 goals in that time period he is a sniper and when on ice is always a threat and when he plays with Conner or Hyman and even Drisittle he is a guy Conner uses with the other power play guys he is always a threat one player I'm not to impressed by is brown all the hype about him coming in and I think he has been a normal player that if had to choose Cain or brown to get Perry in would sacrifice brown but they have to keep Cain he has deserved it and I think Cain is the better player than perry
I would rather keep Foegle he’s been awesome he’s fast and he stands out every shift. He was the hardest working oiler noticeably when we went thru our slump and think he’s worth every penny. I would be super interested in Corey perry coming in and more so interested in getting out of the Campbell contract for a goalie.
An interesting trade idea may be Gibson for Campbell throw in broberg and a 1st and have anihiem retain salary on Gibson for the 1st pick. Gibson has been rough last 4 years averaging a 9.04 % but would be a great tandem with skinner potentially could see this trade idea really work out. Maybe I’m out to lunch tho
