That Suter to Hoglander goal was much nicer than even this clip showed. Seconds before that, someone(I'm still unsure who, but maybe it was Suter) knocked an errant puck down in the neutral zone with some elite skill and kept the play moving with what was an extremely high skill play that he made look very casual and every day. then the actual goal and my jaw dropped. The Petey goal was some extreme solo skill, but the Hoggie goal impressed me more cuz it was born from the new identity this team has.

This was some of the most atrocious reffing ive seen in recent memory, good taste of playoff hockey i guess. Didnt even start with miller and crosby, pens were playing egregiously dirty and just not getting called at all. Made the W that much sweeter.

Van has been the Cinderella story of the NHL this year. I gotta say Toccet HAS to be the Jack Adams clinch if it had to be decided today. Still lots of hockey to go, but to be honest, maintenance days are probably the smartest thing I've seen in DECADES, the team is having fun out there. If the Canucks keep buying in to this as a team, we may see the 1st cup coming to BC.

My prediction is Vancouver loses in the Western Conference final to Colorado in 7. I genuinely hope I am wrong, AND we'll may be because if Colorado loses Nate at 100%, they don't have the depth that Van does.

I remember when I use to play be a gm mode a lot back in nhl 12-18 on xbox 360, I would use the allstar break as a check point date to assess my team. If my team had 30+ wins, i knew my team was top tier in the league. Canucks has 28 wins and has one of the easiest schedules ahead.
This season feels like when you have a stacked be a gm mode team with 5-6 players in the 88-92 overall range. And your third line are like 84-82 overall range. It’s been so fun!
