My mind is being blasted by the fact that Okie got significant time on the powerplay and had two shifts with less than 1:00 left on the clock.
Fact One: Okposo has five power play points in his last 114 games. That works out to one point on the powerplay every twenty games.
Fact Two: Okposo has only scored one game winning goal in the last calander year.
I ain’t mad at Okie. It’s not his fault. I am mad at Granato who should know both of the above facts and should know that he has players on his bench for whom scoring in those situations is not an anomaly. Hell, it’s almost a punishment to put him out there for those moments. Baffling.
In short: I need the upper-left corner. High-energy, unpleasant. F-Zero.
