Monahan would be a excellent add yet I'm afraid that he would be a much sought after player & the Oilers couldn't afford it because he would be a rental acquistion only. So I would focus more on getting another goaltender & right shot defenseman. The big question is who are we willing to move that other teams would even want? Nobody in this fan base probalby wants to move Foegle or Mcleod now. Does anyone want Brown Kulak, Ceci or Campbell? I think Broberg won't get us much and I think it would be unwise to trade Holloway or any of the other prospects imo. We need Kane's physical game imo. Ryan, Janmark & Gagner aren't going anywhere.
Forget Monahan, I'd be going for Corey Perry, he's won a cup and knows what it takes to win a cup! Something the Oilers have and been striving towards!

Id like Monahan more if they got rid of Brown….he has proven he is useless to them. When you have played 31 games on a high offence team like Edmonton and have less points than every single defenceman on the team….and your a forward! You bring nothing to the table they need. See Ya!

Kane should go to the first line with McDavid and Hyman. Kane is capable of getting 40 goals in the right situation like that. Then Nuge, Draisaitl and Foegle or McLeod on the 2nd line.
Lets see what Hallaway does as 3rd line center. Saw highlights of Bakersfield, both Lavoie and Broberg looked absolutely dominant
