First time in a LONG TIME that the flyers have had not 1 BUT 2 goalies that can steal games. You trade one of those two and one guy gets hurt, who’s your backup that can also win/steal games? Also helps the competition in net, they push each other to become better. You re-sign hart as soon as possible. You need two capable goalies in today’s nhl. Been saying this for a while. Keep both.
Hart hasn’t been the same since he came back from his illness he lost that weight, I think he’s getting back to his level he was before. It’s possible to they have two top 15 goalies

For anyone saying errson is better just because the shootouts it baffles me. You can’t base who to keep as your number 1 based on shootouts. They should try to sign hart to a deal that works for both sides, a 2 year 5.75 mil per would work, it’s short term it leaves the door open to errson based on his value deal and it ends when you hopefully get kolosov up. Then you just have to decide which one to keep, but to say errson based on a 20 game sample over Hart who has been awesome for this team in every season besides one is pretty wild to me

Torts is just objectively wrong for benching slumping players in their hometown. A slumping player absolutely will bring more energy to their game playing in their hometown, and having one great game is often all it takes to bust out of a slump. Torts should not only play slumping players in their hometown; he should start them and give them a minute or two more than they usually get. Huge opportunitly missed every time he does this. Not to mention it's just a dick move.

Two keys to our boys success. First, they are all buying into Torts system. Love it or hate it….they are all buying in. No egos in the locker room. No sour puss big dolla vet spreading cancer around the room. They are in!
Second and always the most important… They are just out working teams. 110% ever shift. Blocking shots…shots that hurt. Diving to break up passes. Not just checking but finishing checks like old time hockey! And… Not working hard for a new contract or to shut up the media but….for the man on either side of them on the bench. They are playing….like Marines!!!! You gotta habe skill in this league but….hard work and out working your opponent can make up for lack of skill. Not that this roster doesn't habe skill but… there's no 50 geno man (yet) on the sheet. TK…. he's on his way to top tier levels but….a lot of young guns that still need to find their way in this league. No Flyers aren't going to the All Star Game if not for this one from each team silliness. Yet….2 points outta first in the division. It's freaking January and… we're 2 points out. No one… including every member of the Flyers org…. thought we would be saying this.

Cutter Gauthier may prove to be a galvanizing moment to put this franchise back in its proper place. Their response to it, from FO, coach, all the way down to the players has been excellent. Very nice to see from what should be a premier team in the NHL.
