“As the kids these days say, a wagon.” Ty Sean Reynolds for making me feel ancient 🤣🥶
Ironic, first we were Jets and now we are Wagons. Yet we’re happy.
Imagine trading a jet for a wagon?
Wait… who is this Jacob Julien? I would like to know more.
I don’t get that Columbus worm. I was at that game, the defence was moving the puck out of our end with such confidence that at no point in time did I feel we were in danger of giving up a goal. It was the most confident I have ever felt at a game given how well everything was going.
The decision in that game to give Appleton the most minutes is baffling considering he’s probably been the Jets worst forward for a month. Glad to see it questioned,
I wonder if Chevy is disciplined enough to make the smart bet to extend Demelo and let the 34 year old that’s blocking the pipeline walk. You’ve laid it out nicely. Aging curve is likely coming for Dilly but there’s an emotional attachment to a guy that’s out there and you know has everyone’s back every night. Do you think Schmidt has played well enough that he’s avoided the possibility of becoming a buyout candidate next year? I think if the club has confidence in him you have to live with him and let Dillon walk to free up money for other guys. A buyout of 88 next season just to keep 5 would cost 2.7 million in dead cap plus whatever Dillon’s hit is so let’s say almost a 6 million dollar cost for each guy no matter how you slice it – plus the cap hit at 1.6 million the following year. I’ve liked his work with Samberg this year and I think if there’s an opening on LD he’d be an ideal partner for young Ville for a season.
All I can say is things will step up a notch once Connor and Scheif are back. Essentially, out two of our top players.
