Ok. So I watched this in real time and obviously Hyman's first touch is offside. However, isn't the NHL review only supposed to be on the zone entry directly when the goal is scored? Because Hyman actually leaves the zone after he gets the puck and re enters onside. Did the NHL change the rule, or did they in fact get their own rule wrong because they saw how obvious the first offside was and didn't want to try to explain that to the leafs?

The only smart thing Keefe did was put Marner back on with Mathews. The $92 million dollar Swede has been snakebitten.
It’s obvious that coaching adjustments aren’t made, or well executed, by the leafs staff. And it’s been obvious for a couple of seasons. Keefe does not strike me as the type to get any respect from his players so why he is the coach still is beyond me….
As a hockey fan of neither team, man those 2 announcers are annoying to listen too.
