low key would love to see this out of morbid curiosity

We’re gonna hire Sergei Brylin as head coach?

This photo just reminds me of why we might need to fire Lou as well. He fired the best in the league devils head coach with a handful of games left in the 2007 season because Lou thought he didn’t have the team ready for the playoffs.

Yet the Lane Lambert show continues unabated.

That was also 9 years ago. I wonder if at age 81 he still has the energy for that.

He’s been frozen longer than Mitch McConnell

This would at least have entertainment value. Also the calls would definitely tend to go our way more often if Lou is the one behind the bench (not that it should, but that’s just the reality)

  6. Honestly curious who would replace Lane. No one seems like a good hire with this team

  7. I know he coached some bad teams and he hasn’t been a head coach in a while, but would Guy Boucher be a fit for this team? He was known for a stingy defensive system that would put people to sleep. I’m not really a fan of that style of play but this team doesn’t have the horses to win 5-4 games in my opinion.

not even joking i would be 100% for this because it’d mean he’d have to face the media every day instead of twice a year

If they fire Lane then Lou will coach the Devils? Sign me up!

Lou’s not gonna go behind the bench and have to face the media. He’ll make Johnny Mac do it instead.
