Matthews scoring drought just over a month ago he was averaging LESS than 2 shots per game and last night Matthews had 1 single shot marner only 3. I seriously don't understand it.

These refs this year have got to be the worst to date. Every game it seems has blatant penalties that are missed.

There was no inconsistency on the cross checks. Matthew Austin was playing the puck when he was pushed off the puck. Hence no penalty. The AV’s player when he was viciously crossed check did not have the puck. Leaf fans need to leave their rose color glasses at home. Go! Canucks! Go!
You bone head, the Oilers are a cup contender already. They just went 18-3. They could still win their next 6 games against Toronto, kraken, flames, blue jackets, Blackhawks, and predators.
Every team can rightfully moan about the reffing. For that reason, it’s a bad look. Stop complaining and just outplay your opponents – don’t leave it to a missed call.

don't blame the refs for the Leafs chocking. Leafs forwards are more interested in their stats than winning.
There's a million plays against each team every game that you could argue was a penalty, leafs fans are just whiny and entitled.
You forgot to mention the pass that Matthews made, from the corner to the Avalanche defenseman, that led to their second goal, not even the TV commentator mentioned this lack of defense, from the #1 scorer on the Leafs! And where was the Number 1 and 2 line, when the goal scoring, was from the third line and two defensemen, BUT yes lets blame the goalie, that had no one defending, the front of the net!!!
Referring is a snap decision. It is never going to be perfect. Leaf fans got to get over it. That was NOT the reason you lost. Why don't leaf fans take a look at that long list.
