Knies definitely needs a Marlies stint. Ie Arber Xhekaj. Marner clearly gets defensive and feels like they are being attacked be his fan base. This is also not the first time he has said those things when questioned.
Sammy, it was unfair of you not to play the first part of Marner's interview which changes everything he said after.
Marner, Matthews, Nylander, Knies, Woll and Reilly ARE NOT the problem and all MUST remain Leafs in order for this team to succeed (untouchables). Use the rest of the players (including the aging much slower now, Tavares) to get them the support they need to do what they do best. Fire Keefe and bring in God, as the team is now, you wont have better results. THIS TEAM IS SOFT WHICH PREVENTS THE STARS FROM DOING WHAT THEY ARE CAPABLE OF. If you want some one fired of consequence then realistically its Shanahan, plainly obvious he is not capable.
I think Leafs Stars need to get pissy about losing the way Draisaitl and McDavid get pissy.
