  1. we dont want the players to grab or redirect the puck with their hands. he actively reached for the puck, redirected it with his hand and his teammate was the next to play the puck. right call.

  2. Not only was it not a hand pass, but Tavares actually hits the puck before Osterle does… which would negate the 'hand pass'

  3. It's a dumb rule when it goes against your team is what I am hearing 🙂 If a missed hand pass results in the cup winning goal well that's okay as long as it's my team that wins. Rules in the game are for a reason and this rule makes sense and is well defined and players know it.

  4. This was bullshit. Refs were likely just tired of hearing leaf fans cry so he said , " give em the win". What a joke.

  5. VERY LUCKY here for the Leafs, Tavares and Bertuzzi plodding around in their own end AGAIN and McCabe coasting along and letting his man go. This is an extremely flimsy win for the Leafs, not much to build on. Marner flat out missed a couple of chances, Willy NOT SCORING since the BIG SIGNING. I have doubt about making the postseason and I’m a Leafs fan…

  6. The puck could have been cleared. If the Calgary didn't interfere the play deliberately like that. He tried to stop it with his hand.

Good call. Sad to see the coaching staff having to do the reffs job for them tho 🫠

  7. only the laffs would get a reverse call on that, where do they go for call, oh ya, Toronto, what a joke this team is

  8. You shouldn’t be allowed taking a time out to review it. Dumb rule. Leafs had to pull this one out of their asses. Why Calgary played vladar Is beyond me

  9. 😂😂😂 this is why i dont watch the NHL anymore that is a deflection, does he catch the puck and throw to a team mate no they might aswell make a new rule you can only touch the puck with your stick no body parts if thats deemed an intentional hand pass

  10. It’s minuscule crap like this that makes the challenge ruin games.
No rules were broke but definitely bent.
Again it’s simply ruining games wake up…NHL WAKE UP 💀

  11. The league's administration and officiating has so many problems with so much more impact than the hand pass rule applying to a jabbing motion.

  12. This gets called at centre ice if it even glances of a wrist and onto a teammates stick. Cry about it 😊

  13. this challenge should not have been allowed. the leafs called time out to review the play. then they challenge. you can't challenge if you dont have a time out. they used their time out to challenge so if the challenge was wrong they had nothing to lose since they already used their time out.

  14. Gave Toronto way too much time. You shouldn't get your IT people several minutes to look at replays back in their control room.
