I told people that playing on that 2021 Florida team held back how good this dude was. There was so little playing time on that team he was overlooked. Told people it was a steal but most thought it wasn't.
Also, look at the shots. They just out shot one of the leading teams in the NHL by a LARGE margin.
Tippetts last couple goals remind me a lot of when I first saw Giroux play. It was like, “woah, who is this kid?” Coincidentally, Tippett was acquired as part of the Giroux trade.

Notice the defender actually has good position. And the goalie also has good position. The spin move catches them a bit by surprise, but that backhand shot is just amazing – great placement and velocity, makes it hard to stop.
Tippett has some special talent thats for sure.
