   The guy is a goal scoring machine. 37 goals in 42 games played is wild. It’s even crazier when you look at 34’s gamelog. He had a stretch of only scoring 1 goal in 7 games and another of 1 goal in 9 games. It’s madness.

   At what point do people start pointing out that Matthews can have all of the individual records in the organization’s history he wants, but without any rings, he’ll never stand above the true Leafs who sat on those lists for generations and in some cases had 4-8 SC rings. It’s pretty indicative of the world we live in (look out for number one, the collective doesn’t really matter).
