@Kraken de Seattle

If you do a deep dive into the defence, make sure you credit Coffey. And, breakdown what's different. Some fans don't seem to see the difference between the Manson defence and the Coffey defence. Good vid.

  2. I feel like the reason the Oil is winning is because I haven't watched them play this year (lifelong fan/just haven't made the time to watch). I KNOW that if I watch the next game, their streak will end. So… I won't watch. Kinda sux, but hey, take one for the team, right?

  3. Foegele is looking like the real deal. After 3-4 extended looks worth the top 6 over the last few years, he's finally running with it. McLeod looked good also but is sharing the last top 6 spot with Kane

  4. As a fan it's been wild to watch games and be like, "Oh they're down? That's fine actually, they'll handle it"

  5. I said when people were saying they wouldn’t make the playoffs you can’t count this team out this early on. McDavid and dri can really carry this team

  6. Great video, Oilers are probably the most exciting to watch the past few years, but this season is amazing. Im routing for this team.

  7. Adding to what you’ve said … McD, Drai, Kane & Nuge aren’t even on top of their game, once they hit on all Cylinders WATCH OUT !

  8. Started ice cold and now in fifth gear halfway through the season. Reminds me of peak Perry-Getzlaf era Ducks who performed similarly.

  9. I hope we get Corey Perry at a league minimum contract. Move McLeod back up to 2nd, get Kane and Perry on 3rd. The 3rd line would be an absolutely filthy, and well despised line with those two working together.

  10. I am from Fiji🇫🇯. Edmonton and Ottawa are my favorite teams. Hope Oilers will beat Pittsburgh's 17 streak.

  11. im lovin the team right now, yes theyre playing good but we really dont need any change now, MAYBE a goalie behind skinner but i like pickard, erne and brown are the onyl other 2 that could be swapped.

  12. No love for Desharnais, smh. Nice analysis! Desharnais has been more impressive than Ceci so far this season. Gotta include him if you do a defence vid.

  13. Good Analysis and video. In this winning streak Oilers have truly deserved to win all but 1 game due to sheer hardwork. The defensive structure has definitely been the big change. The consistency has been the other. The team just keeps doing their thing regardless of score. I hope they can continue to play at this high level.

Flames quietly being slept on as well. They are a rock throw away and have been playing good hockey lately too.

  14. Yes, the D-men you mentioned are all part of the turnaround story, but I also gotta give props to Vinnie Desharnais. No, he isn't ever going to be a Norris trophy candidate, but he has settled into his position mainly (I think) by accepting that he is who he is and just playing solid, route-one, by-the-book hockey. Last year, and then even more in the first weeks of this year, he seemed like a sure bet every game to make one or two absolutely boneheaded plays with the puck in his own end, but it's been quite a while since I've seen anything like, for one example, a lazy backhand no-look pass with his net empty that luckily hit the post.

  15. Can these guys take a slash to the wrist and a fist in the face from the Golden Knights and not get intimidated in the playoffs. If so then it is terrifying. Until then, they are breakdancing the regular season. When bad men come to take ur lunch money these guys need to stand up, not be scared and score and make em pay. I truly hope that happens this year.

  16. Not to mention skinner has been ELITE, the defence has been ELITE 10 straight games only allowing 2 or less goals

  17. As a Canucks fan, I hope we play them first round. Totally worth getting booted in the first round for such an exciting matchup

  18. Said that all along … McJeebus radiates goals like the sun radiates light. Just being on the same line as him gains a lot of points for the player

  19. This, and other Youtube hockey channels, are like 100x better than SportsNet etc. Very refreshing style and quality content on here.
