Fighting should be handled in the NHL the way it is in the NFL: not allowed, immediately sent off for the rest of the game. Ideally, suspensions to follow. Completely out of date and unnecessary. Hockey is physical enough for anyone; no need for this throwback to the era of the Marquis of Queensberry. (Canadian talking here.)
It's one thing to get a head injury from a fall or bad luck hitting the boards, no need for an activity that is designed to cause brain injury. Completely nuts. If it weren't part of the game already, it would never ever be allowed.
